It is true that Selfless Love is giving
and sacrificing.  All of our perception of
loss is just a state of mind.  It is just an
illusion.  We do not really gain
anything because when we die we
cannot take anything with us not even
our own physical body.  The physical
body gets cremated or buried and
returns back to Earth.  We accept the
illusion of loss from the mind because
this illusion allows us to pretend and
make excuses.

If we are honest to ourselves we would
not fall for the illusion of loss.  But we
actually embrace the illusion of loss,
so that we can use it as a supportive
argument for selfishness.

The atom consists of 99% of
nothingness, so that means 99% of
the physical world is nothingness.
Whatever we gain in the physical is
just nothingness.
We falsely believe that selfishness will
make us happy.  We want to be happy
so we choose selfish.  However, selfish
only makes us unhappy because of
fear.  Only Selflessness can make us
happy because no fear.  Therefore, we
are actually approaching life in a
distorted way.

We might think it is unfair that
selfishness will lead to eventual self
destruction or selfishness will lead to
bad Karma.  This is a very dishonest
thinking.  The only reason why we
think this way is because we want to
choose selfish without any
consequences.  We are unfair not the
Great Divine Law of Karma.  We never
think we are unfair when we are selfish
but as soon as we are held
responsible for our choices, we start
crying that the Divine is unfair.  We are
being hypocrites.
