| Also meditate upon this. To possess something means we must have absolute control over it. We cannot even possess our own physical body because we do not even have control over our own physical death. How can we have control over anything or possess anything else if we do not even have full control of our own physical body? It is an illusion to think we can possess something. Another point is that the physical world is impermanent. We cannot even live very long in a physical body. When we die, we (our souls or consciousness) leave the physical world naked and empty-handed, just as when we were born (incarnated). We cannot bring our physical body with us either when we die, so it was never ours to possess in the first place. Everything (material) is just temporary, only for assisting our higher and true purpose for living: for the greater good and the evolution of consciousness, when we choose to live with Love and Selflessness (Heart) every moment of our life. |
| ALL OF OUR TRUE POTENTIAL Our souls or consciousness are immortal but most of us choose to focus on the physical world which is impermanent. We are what we think. So if we think we are just physical beings with physical possessions then we will only be that. If we think we are immortal souls in a physical body for the purpose of evolving (expansion of consciousness) then we have limitless potential. |
