| Crisis bringing out the best in some people 15.) Fortunately, there are some real compassionate, goodwill and sharing Texans – here is short list of those helping hurricane / flood victims: a.) A furniture store owner willingly to feed and shelter victims in his stores, so far around 400 survivors. b.) Bakers trapped in their store, who made over 1,000 bread loaves for victims; then distributed with the help of first responders. c.) Pizza Hut employees delivering free pizzas to victims by kayak. d.) Home owners receiving and feeding victims at their homes (without seeking publicity or ‘photo ops’). |
