| *3.) Over-generosity of giving Teachings is not goal-fitting, and leads to treason. *4.) So true and wise teacher, by own correct discernment and straight- knowledge, must give in accordance with receiver’s (or student’s): personal merit, obedience, loyalty, trustworthiness, qualities of receiver’s immediate surroundings, and karmic and astrological conditions !!! *5.) Always by judging through criteria of own heart. *6.) The path of the Bodhisattva contains this essence of measure. *7.) No logic will safeguard the 'giving one' from excess; but the heart knows this heavenly balance! |
| *12.) Nothing can refine the heart so greatly as an infinite spiritual giving. 13.) Because of invisible and intangible of spiritual – all ignorant, materialistic, mundane and profane do not: appreciate and see spiritual offering(s) as valuable. *14.) But the all root source of ‘riches’ [true wealth] – both spiritual and material – is in the heart. Co-measure and proportion 1.) As excessive foods lead to indigestion and sickness; insufficient food leads to hunger. *2.) So proportionate giving is wisdom and vigilance. |
