c.)  Yet great is ignorance when the best panaceas
are forgotten in the family.
Especially, when the world
is quaking from hatred, it is indispensable to make
haste in opening the ears of the young generation
.

d.)  Without realization of the significance of music it
is also impossible to understand the sounding of
nature; and, of course, it is impossible to think about
the
music of the spheres—only noise will be
accessible to the spirit of the ignorant. The song of
waterfall or river or ocean will be only a roar; the wind
will not bring melody and will not resound in the trees
as a solemn hymn. The best harmonies vanish for the
unopened ear. Can people accomplish their ascent
without song? Can Brotherhood stand without song?

75.)  Agni Yoga, Infinity II (1930), 377:

a.)  Beautiful is the thought about
Brotherhood upon Earth.
Each disciplining
of spirit produces striving. Only the will
can give discipline to the spirit
.

b.)
But when the thought rambles, asserting
selfhood
, then verily there is no channel
for true vital action
.

c.)
“Every applied thought will bring
growth to the spirit. Thus, each applied
thought furthers the expansion of
consciousness
.
76.)  Agni Yoga, New Era Community (1926), 2:

Depression is the enemy of each improvement.

There can be no constructive building in doubt.

There will be no learning under fear.

Observation is a step toward justice.

Selfhood is betrayal of self-renunciation.

Without achievement there is no path.

77.)
Agni Yoga, AUM (1936), 253:

a.)
“Lack of steadfastness was especially
condemned in antiquity.

b.)
It was called ruination and was
regarded with reproach, as the barrier to
advancement
.

c.)
Wavering was considered to be
ignorance and failure in the primary
education
. It was assumed that the disciple
would not wander away from the true basis, but
would continue persistently to perfect himself.
